Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig November 21, 1983) is an American actress who is best well-known for her role as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC TV series Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington, Ohio and dropped out of school when her parents divorced to go to Los Angeles to live with her mother. While struggling financially she landed her first part as the title character in the video on-demand series Rachel's Room in the year 2001. The actress was able to secure an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of fifteen-year-old victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder which aired in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford was the lead actress on Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004, she was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award with the entire ensemble.
