Bea, along with her younger sister Sinead was raised with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Their parents were both obsessed with racing and horses. As a young girl, Bea employed as a tour guide for the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she was not attracted to the race industry as a career and instead was a performer.
