Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16 1984 on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. She appeared with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March, 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea was first seen as bit roles in Irish or British TV programs in the year 2009, made her debut as a stand-up comedian in 2011. The comedian began to appear frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms in 2012. After she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear regularly in various panel programs. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016-2017 and is a regular contestant in its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. In 2012, she became the first woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea was awarded the award to honor her father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who killed himself when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she reached the age of thirteen. Bea chose to stage her name Bea in honor of her late father. Bea also wrote a 2017 article in The Guardian on her family's suicide experience. Bea, along with her younger sister Sinead was raised with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Their parents were both obsessed with racing and horses. As a young girl, Bea employed as a tour guide for the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she was not attracted to the race industry as a career and instead was a performer.
